So here I am, Scottsdale Arizona on my bachelorette party with some of my best friends. I am having such an amazing time, and you better believe I have been having some chicken wings. These wings I had on Thursday, the first day I got here and they were yummy! However, I must give you the story leading up to the chicken wings before I start telling about them. Haley and Raimey picked me up from the airport around 6:00 pm (with a beer ready for me) and we went back to their condo which is absolutely amazing! After we got settled in and met up with my friend Lisa we decided to go out and get something to eat. My only request was "nothing Mexican", well....that didnt happen. We drove around and found lots of restaurants but nothing really sounded great. We finally found California Pizza Kitchen and thought about eating there. We parked but right across the parking lot was this bar that looked awesome. It had a mini pool, that people could actually wade in, it was an open air bar, and it had sand on the ground. It was pretty cool, and since we dont have one back at home I decided we should go check it out. Turns out its Mexican food, but oh well.
So we sat down to order some food and drinks, by this time it is 10:00pm, and I am starving! I did not order the wings because I needed something a little more substantial, but Raimey did and I had a few. They were good, and hot which I liked. Raimey didnt like that too much because she thought they were too hot but I thought they were perfect. They also came with carrots and celery, which gets a big plus in my book. They didnt have much meat on them, but the flavor was great. I really enjoyed the. The best part was that it was ladies night and all of our drinks and appetizers were half off! So these wings were 5.oo! It was a sweet deal! I think Raimey would have enjoyed the wings a little more if our server didnt let us run out of drinks every 5 minutes! But speaking of drinks, I had an amazing martini. It was a lemon pepper martini, with actual crushed pepper....SOOOOO GOOD! I want to recreate it, but then again I love pepper!
So would I recommend this place for their wings, sure. would I recommend this place for the huge bar and awesome environment? Absolutely!
