Baeball, Basketball, Beer, Bachelorette Party, and Wings

Funugyz Sports Bar

Peoria, AZ 85381

(Jen's Experience)
Today was an amazing day! I seriously had such a great time. It started at the Mariners vs. Diamondbacks game at the Peoria Sports Complex. What a great place! So here is the story about how we ended up at Funugyz Sports Bar...
The Peoria Sports Complex was packed! In fact they actually record breaking attendance today, more that 14,000 people. It is such a great place! One little problem...because there were so many people the beer service was sooooo slow! I only was able to order 2 beers the entire time, this was not because I only wanted two beers but because the lines were ridiculously LONG! So on our trip to waiting in line for beer I met this man who was advertising for his sports bar. We got to talking and he said we should come down to his bar after the game and that they would be playing the University of Washington Huskies basketball game. We mentioned that we were on a bachelorette party and he said he would buy us all a beer, so we decided to go.
After the baseball game we headed to the bar, and it was your typical sports bar. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and 10 chicken wings. One thing I did like about the chicken wings is that you could order them individual (a minimum of 10) but they were .75 cense each. Pretty good I thought. They claim to have the most meat on their bones and best chicken wings in the state, and although they were very very good, I am not sure about their claim. One thing I did like is that they had a lot of different sauce choices. I had one mustard flavor, buffalo flavor, and a peanut sauce favor. I LOVED them all. Probably some of my favorite wings!

(Lacie's Experience)
After having a blast but only having two beers at the baseball game, we were all in need of some serious consumption: both booze and food. By far, this place exceeded my expectations. It's your typical looking sports bar and what I expected was shitty fried bar food. Thank God I was surprised. I ordered the Greek salad and it was exceptional. Being a Greek, I have pretty high standards when it comes to my Greek food. Like I said, my expectations for the food were that it would be very sub-par. Jen ordered the wings without sauce on them, which I have to say is not my preference, but I do understand the reasoning. It's Jen reasoning, so I don't recommend it to others. The sauces were incredible. They don't even have Franks Red Hot, which is pretty amazing in my opinion. But their sauces were actually far superior. The buffalo flavor was incredible. The perfect blend of spice and savory. I love spicy food, but not when it is too overwhelming of the other flavors. This sauce was perfect harmony. That being said, the prices were reasonable, the drinks were delish (it's hard to fuck up a vodka soda) and the company was superb. Check it out for sure...I gotta bounce now...the hot tub awaits.
